Minimum System Requirements:
- Computer and processor: 1 GHz processor or higher.
- Memory: 4 GB of RAM or greater. A minimum of 8 GB of RAM is recommended for large simulation runs (i.e., 1 million replications).
- Hard disk: 1 GB of available hard-disk space.
- Display: 1024x768 or higher resolution monitor.
- Operating system: Microsoft Windows 10** or later operating system.
- Microsoft Excel Version: Excel 2016 or later**, or Excel for Microsoft 365.
- Browser: A working browser is required for DiscoverSim Help.
- Connectivity: An internet connection is required for DiscoverSim Help and internet activation (offline activation is also available).
Note:
** Extended support for Excel 2016 and Excel 2019 and Windows 10 is ending on October 14th, 2025.
DiscoverSim is not compatible with Mac, Microsoft Office Online, Office 365 cloud applications, Chromebook, or Google Sheets.
Note: Users must have administrative rights to install DiscoverSim.
