Number of Continuous Factors - select 2 to 8 continuous factors. Modify Factor Names and Level Settings (Continuous) as needed. Name is text , Low and High settings are numeric.

Number of Categorical Factors - select 0 to 10 categorical factors. Modify Factor Names and Level Settings (Categorical) as needed. Name is text , No. Levels can be 2 to 8, Level Values are text. TThe categorical factor coding scheme is (-1,0,1). The RSM design is replicated for all categorical combinations.

Tip: If the number of runs becomes too large due to replication with categorical combinations, use an Optimal Design.

Select Design - available options will depend on the number of continuous factors.

Number of Replicates - select 1 to 10.

Block on Replicates - check to block on replicates.

Select Alpha Axial Value as Rotatable, Face Centered or Custom The formula for rotatable alpha axial value is given in the Appendix: Central Composite and Augment Design - Alpha Axial Value.

Factor Levels Define: select Cube points (Circumscribed) or Axial Points (Inscribed).

Randomize Runs check to randomize runs with Seed (Base) as either Clock or specified Value. The latter will randomize the runs but always in the same random order for the same seed value. If unchecked, runs are in given in standard order.

Randomize Center Points - uncheck to make center points (approximately) equal spaced within a block. If checked Center Points are randomized. This option is not available if Randomize Runs are unchecked.

Number of Responses sespecify number of responses and enter Response Name.
