Supported Coexistence Scenarios with Microsoft Office 2016

on December 30, 2015

Can I install Office 2016 alongside my existing installation of a previous Office version?

If you already have Microsoft Office 2007, 2010 or 2013 (32 or 64 bit) installed on your computer, you are also able to install Office 2016 without having to uninstall your previous version (with a few exceptions).

If you currently have Office 2007 or 2010, 2013 32-bit you are also able to install the Office 2016 32-bit version.

If you currently have Office 2010 or 2013 64-bit, you are also able to install the Office 2016 64-bit version.

While you can have multiple versions of Microsoft Excel installed concurrently on your system, we recommend associating SigmaXL or DiscoverSim to only one of your installations of Excel.

SigmaXL is available as both 32-bit and 64-bit versions but you will need to ensure you install the correct version based on your Excel edition.
